Midnight Adventure!!

Cool things many people have done but who has actually ventured into the Mountain of Danedong without a Melway (Road Map).

Striving for some adventure in life, Sher and I went for a drive up Mount Dan this morning at 1am. Took me quite awhile to venture up there as I was trying out a new road... but as many would have guessed, knowing my BAD SENSE of direction..., i hollanded.... haha...

After a 1 1/2 drive (usually 45mins) I managed to find the mountain and drove straight to the peak, only to find the view mostly blocked by the Stupid trees.... Yearning for a nicer and better view, We agreed and ventured into the dimly lit mud roads of the mountain and finally after a new dead ends we found this spot that allowed us to overlook the City of Melbourne without much obstructions from the trees.. The scenery was just beyond words, but please allow me try explaining in words. Imagine a dark starry sky (wonders if there were clouds.. nah dont think there was.) Cool or rather cold breeze sweeping our faces.. Little speckles of light coming from the street lamps, buildings and cars in the distance... Just simply awesome...

Anyway, since the adventure mode was already on we took on an even more unlit and bumpy mud track.. Imagine pitch black... yeap... that was how the place looked like with all my lights in the car turned off... This road was long and windy.... with lots of bumps... anyway the drive was breath taking.. but to our dismay after driving a long 20mins or so.. the road lead us to the bottom of the mountain... oh.... GAME OVER... hahaha...

Boy i wanna go again soon and adventure into the "wilderness" again!!
